What's on your mind?
Of course it is classic pop in the KPop style, but the girls are polished if the lip syncing could have been better.
Hello! I'm trying to build a Wikia dedicaded to wowaka, past member of the band Hitorie! I would really like some help with it, here is the message that I sent to people in a vocaloid wikia, and I believe it can explain the same to people from here, so please help!
I'm a big fan of all wowaka's works, but specially when it comes to his band, the amount of information is not much, atleast in the english language lol.
So I decided to create a wikia dedicaded to him, so in there all sorts of information about him can be gathered. But I already am seeing that I'm not fit for the job, so I'm here to make people contribute to this page! The wikia would really need some japanese translators since there are some songs which I can't even find it in romaji, imagine translated. (and too so they can translate actual information about wowaka and the band that could only be found in japanese)
I'm here too to find someone to be the wikia's adm and this stuff because I don't think I have the time to committ myself with this stuff.... So? what do you guys think?
Please contact me if you want to be ADM and stuff like this, (I don't really know how wikias works)
I'm brand new up here (well i have been using the site for some time but just registered as a member) so i don't know if this sort of thing is taboo to mention but i have been doing a weekly chika idol & JPop podcast on archive.org for a while now and it seems like maybe people might like it...
The focus is on independent groups and smaller labels. Songs are new, rare, unreleased, live boots or just my personal heavy rotation songs. Styles range from punk&metal to girls' rap, r&b, EDM, rock, harajuku style, akihabara style, really weird and lo-fi/experimental styles and some more trad idol stuff.
If you want to get a rough handle on my personal tastes, my top oshi groups are Dempagumi Inc, Yurumerumo, WASUTA, KOTO, 3776 Minanaro, Sakamichi Series, Girls2, PassCode, Appare! Harajuku, FES*TIVE, Nanahira, Lyrical School, amorecarina and like that. is all free and i make no $ from this is just fan thing.
Domo arigato & thanks for listening!
Recently got into more of J-POP, I do listen to BABYMETAL and Morning Musume but I also recently got into BAND-MAID, Necronomidol, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Do you guys have any suggestions of who i listen to next. I also listen to Perfume, Crystal Kay, Hikaru Utada, Cute, BiSH, and that's pretty much it. Does anyone have suggestions? Should i listen to the boy groups? Tell me in the comments. Also J-Pop Rocks!
I'm currently struggling with figuring out exactly how this works;
For some groups, it says that they debuted in (for example), 2016, but they released their debut song in 2020. I'm using Qppo as the example of this one.
How exactly does that work? Did they/other groups who have the same, cover songs until they released their own songs? Help me out please :)
The performers are all Japanese, but mostly perform singing Korean (later stages, I think) and producer is Korean...
This was back in early January, but still pretty impressive. And wow, does she look good.
The ones that come to mind for me are:
Shiho Ochi of superfly - listen to 『White Light』... it's frikkin' amazing.
JUNNA (seiyu and started with anime idol group Walküre) - listen to 『Here』 where her voice is so deep and rich.
Mika Kobayashi - I really love the power she brings to 『BRE@TH//LESS』.
Ike/Ikeda Hidefumi of SPYAIR - his live version of 『Just One Life』 is nearly perfect.
Anyone you'd like to call out?
The official website of the Tokyo Karan Koron band announced on Friday that the band will break up on June 17. The group stated that all five members feel like they have done all they can as a group, and the time has finally come to part ways.
