@onefive (ワンファイブ) is a four-member Japanese girl group that was formed in 2019, when the members were 15 years old.[1] In addition to music, they engage in a wide range of other activities, such as modeling, acting, variety shows, and radio.[2] Their concept is "Japanese Classy Crush".[3] The fandom name is @fifth.[4]

Their first appearance was on October 19, 2019, performing "Pinky Promise" at the encore of Sakura Gakuin Festival☆2019.[5] @onefive officially debuted on October 20, 2019, with the digital release of "Pinky Promise".[6]

@onefive's early music, before signing with the major label Avex Trax, has been described as electropop, for example, "Pinky Promise",[7] "Mada Minu Sekai" (まだ見ぬ世界),[8] and "BBB".[9] Since making their major label debut on November 6, 2022, their music has included elements from a variety of genres such as hip-hop, Afrobeat,[10] jungle,[11] Jersey club,[11] and Middle Eastern music.[12] For example, "Justice Day",[13] "ChocoLove",[14] "Sit Down Please",[15] and "KIBIDANGO"[16] have all been described as hip-hop. Common themes in their music are strong Japanese girls and Japanese culture.[17]

The four members of @onefive enjoy a remarkable amount of creative control and freedom, deciding on things like concepts, release titles and album sequencing, live setlists, outfits, music videos, merchandise, cover art, and more. They always share their thoughts and feelings with their songwriters, so that they are strongly represented in their music, and they have written some lyrics themselves.[18][19] @onefive's songs contain the real thoughts and feelings of its members.[20] Even when the four members were high school students, they were sharing and discussing their opinions and their own vision for the future of their group with their managers and staff, making @onefive a girl group that is truly directed by its members.[21] The four-part documentary series Their Underground (彼女たちのUnderground), for example, follows the members behind the scenes as they create the choreography for "Underground" themselves, and make decisions on what kind of outfits, hairstyles, and music video they want.

The members played the role of ChamJam in the 2022 TV drama and 2023 movie live-action adaptations of the manga If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die. "Miraizu" was used as the theme song for the drama, and "Chance" for the movie.[22] @onefive officially made their major label debut with Avex Trax when "Miraizu" was released as a digital single on November 6, 2022.[23]

@onefive became Amazon Fashion Japan's official Generation Z Leader in November 2023.[24] They have also done modeling, advertising, and tie-ups with various other companies, such as The Kiss,[25] Apres Jour,[26] Sculptor,[27] and Beautylabo.[28] The group frequently attends fashion events as well.[29][30] @onefive collaborated with Taco Bell in July 2025, and the foods that the members created were sold at all stores across Japan.[31] On October 23, 2025, @onefive became ambassadors for the mobile game Strinova (卡拉彼丘) and released a Chinese version of their song "KAWAII KAIWAI", titled「喵喵心跳」(Miāo Miāo Xīntiào, "Meow Meow Heartbeat"), as the game's theme song.[32][33]

In addition to music, modeling, acting, and variety shows, @onefive started a podcast called Urunemu (うるねむ) on August 23, 2025, and after 10 episodes, it became a weekly radio show on FM Yokohama on November 6, 2025.[34][35] The weekly radio show is also uploaded to FM Yokohama's YouTube channel, where it can be listened to with auto-translated captions.

@onefive's first overseas performance was in Taiwan on December 31, 2024, at the 2025 Tainan Hao Young New Year's Eve Party.[36] Their second overseas performance was in China at the TIF Asia Tour 2025 in Shanghai on June 14 and 15, 2025. They have since had more and more opportunities to perform internationally and they have been actively making efforts to expand overseas.[37][38][39]

@fifth

@fifth logo

@onefive's official fanclub, called @fifth, was established on January 15, 2023, as a mobile app.[41] The app was originally called "@onefive Premium". During the first live stream through the app on March 3, 2023, the fanclub name "@fifth" was revealed, and the app was renamed accordingly.[42][43] Fanclub membership is granted through the @fifth mobile app.[44] In the fanclub app, the four members of @onefive write blog/diary posts, upload vlogs and other videos, and occasionally live stream.[41] The "@" sign in the fanclub logo resembles a strawberry, because "one" and "five" are "ichi" and "go" in Japanese, and "ichigo" means "strawberry" in Japanese. The official @onefive penlight, called @FIFTHLIGHT, contains the same "@" sign design as the fanclub logo, and it can be set to emit white, strawberry-color, or turquoise blue light.[45]
