ALI, an acronym for "Alien Liberty International", is a multinational Hip-Hop/Funk band from Shibuya (Tokyo), Japan. All members of the band are mixed with roots in Japan, Europe, America, Asia, Africa, etc.
On May 14, 2021, the band announced their indefinite hiatus after their drummer KAHADIO was arrested for fraud.[1] After a half year hiatus, the band resumed activities on November 18, 2021.[2]
On October 1, 2024, it was announced that ALI would be working as a solo project centered on vocalist LEO from the same day, as members LUTHFI and CÉSAR had left the band.[3]
