Trivia[]
- The song went through several title changes before its release. The original title given to the song by Akimoto was "Omoide Kigaete" (思い出着替えて), which was then changed to "Kaze no Chelsea" (風のチェルシー) by producer Inaba Tatsufumi. The song was soon chosen to be used for an upcoming advertising campaign in which songs containing names were prohibited, so it was changed to the final title, "Aoi Station."
- Upon first release, people believed the Station (スタスィオン) in the title of the song to be a spelling error. (The correct Katakana is ステイション or ステーション.) However, if you were to pronounce the English word "Station" in a French accent, the spelling becomes correct.
