BiS, also known as Brand-new idol Society (Shinsei Idol Kenkyuukai, 新生アイドル研究会), was a Japanese idol group that was founded in 2010 by former member Pour Lui. With music, performances, and videos that are extremely different from the typical idol group, BiS have come to be known as "alternative" idols. They disbanded at Yokohama Arena on July 8, 2014. The group is managed and produced by Watanabe Junnosuke.

On July 8, 2016, it was announced that BiS would be coming back and that auditions for the group were opening and new members were added with the group restarting activities.

On May 2018 the group split into two units; BiS 1st (the main group) and BiS 2nd. The most voted members on BiS.LEAGUE (a virtual platform to vote for your favorite members buying the new single and using the serial code include on it) would be part of BiS 1st and the rest part of BiS 2nd.

The second generation of BiS disbanded in 2019 and a third-generation was announced in June. They released an album in September 2019.

On August 9, 2024, it was announced that the third generation of BiS would disband and the disbandment date would be announced later. They disbanded on January 12, 2025.
