Boom Trigger (ブームトリガー) was a vocal and dance group formed with former contestants of Produce 101 Japan on March 22, 2020.
The group wants to establish a new music genre named "K・J HOP" which is a fusion of K-POP, J-POP and HIP-HOP by taking advantage of the strength of its members who are excellent at singing.
On September 11, 2022, it was announced that Ando Yu would leave the group, and that Okano Kaito would continue to perform as an actor and solo artist under the stage name "Okano_Skywalker", ultimately disbanding the group.
