Captain (キャプテン), also known as Be-2, was a Japanese idol duo active in the 1980s and 1990s.

About[]

The duo initially debuted in 1981 as "School Mates," and were the chorus/backup singers and dancers for Matsumoto Iyo in her early music performances. In 1984, the duo was renamed to Captain and got paired with idol Aso Mamiko, becoming a trio known as Aso Mamiko & Captain.

After Mamiko left in 1984, the duo became Be-2, singing covers of various older songs. After releasing music, they were then renamed as Devil Girls and appeared on various variety shows throughout the 1990s before entirely disbanding in 2002.
