The title of this work take from Storm Labels official site. DEAR MY LOVER / URAOMOTE is the 33rd single by Hey! Say! JUMP was released on May 31, 2023.
It will be released in 3 versions: Limited Editions 1/2 with Blu-ray or DVD, and Regular Edition with CD only. This work, which will be the first single in about a year since the previous "a r e a / Koi wo Surunda / Haru Tsubame" and about 3 years since "I am / Muah Muah" released on 2020, expresses the duality of Hey! Say! JUMP with love songs and solid songs.
"DEAR MY LOVER" is the theme song for the TBS drama "Ousama ni Sasagu Kusuriyubi" which was aired in April 2023, it's a "POP & HAPPY" song that expresses the uneven Cinderella story of two people who start with the worst encounter. While it's a sparkling straight love song that appeals to a wide range of generations, it's a "Tsundere wedding song" accented by poisonous lyrics and catchy choreography. Meanwhile, "URAOMOTE" is the theme song for the Fuji TV series drama "Shinai naru Boku e Satsui wo Komete" which was broadcast from October 2022, It is a solid song written with the theme of the main character who has a dual personality, and it contains a sound source sung by eight people, including Hikaru Yaotome, who was on hiatus when the drama began broadcasting. The both starring fellow member Yamada Ryosuke.
The limited edition 1 included "Sweet Chilli Sauce" by sub unit Hey! Say! BEST, limited edition 2 included "Ano Hi no Boku e" by Hey! Say! 7. This is the first time about 5 year since "SENSE or LOVE", the both sub unit have new song. Regular edition included "Edelweiss", "VILLAIN" and original karaoke song.
