Trivia[]

  • The duo's name, KinKi Kids, refers to the fact that both members are natives of the Kansai Region (which is also known as the Kinki Region):
    • Domoto Koichi (the oldest member of the duo) is a native of Ashiya, Hyōgo Prefecture.
    • Domoto Tsuyoshi (the youngest member of the duo) is a native of Nara, the capital city of Nara Prefecture.
      • Despite their surnames being the same, Koichi and Tsuyoshi are not blood-related to each other.
  • Despite their long-lasting and rich career, KinKi Kids have never been participants of the NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen until the 67th edition (2016). It would take another six years until their first White Team Victory.
