FRUITS ZIPPER (フルーツジッパー) is a seven-member girl group formed in February 2022. They debuted in April 2022.
The group is produced by Kimura Misa and aims to introduce idol culture to the world. With the concept of "From Harajuku to the world", they will transmit "NEW KAWAII" from Harajuku, the fashion town.
The group's name was chosen to express their desire to "grow through idol activities and bear fruit from immature seeds" and become a group that gives energy to the world.[1]
In October 2023, their first Japan tour was a huge success, with the Tokyo Gymnasium being the venue for the final tour.
At the Japan Record Awards in December 2023, they won the Best New Artist Award.
In May 18 and 19, 2024, they had two days concerts at Nippon Budokan and huge success.
In August 18, 2024, they will be performing live at Sprit of Japan in Miami which will be a first concert in U.S.A. for them.
