FlowBack is a 4, formerly 5 member Japanese male dance and vocal group formed in 2013. They were selected as one of 8 finalists from 125,094 applicants at the "LINE Audition", the largest audition in Japan in 2014.
The group made their major debut under Ki/oon Music (Sony Music Japan) with the single "Come a long way" in September 2016.
On October 22, 2021, it was announced that the group would end their exclusive contract with their current agency, Zest Inc. on November 30, 2021, and become independent afterwards. Additionally, member MARK would leave the group on December 31, 2021 to focus on his career as an actor. FlowBack would hold their last solo live as a 5-member group at Hulic Hall Tokyo on the same day.[1]
On August 26, 2023, the group announced that they would take an indefinite break from music activities after the 10th Anniversary Live "FlowBack" at KT Zepp Yokohama on December 3.[2]
