Fortuness is a completely self-produced idol group that debuted in August 2021. Their concept is "dual-wielding idols", because all members are also aspiring to enter a different entertainment field as well as being idols. They were initially based in Osaka, but in August 2022 they began to be dually based in Osaka and Tokyo.
The group is also split into the sub-units Fortuness EAST and Fortuness WEST, which perform primarily in Tokyo and Osaka respectively.
