Fukunaga Satomi (福永恵規) is a Japanese producer, a former idol, a former actress, and a former founding member of Onyanko Club.

She graduated from Onyanko Club on September 26, 1986.

History[]

Fukunaga became interested in acting after watching her younger brother perform in a local theater. In February 1985, she auditioned for the All Night Fuji High School Girl Special as a memorable way to end high school. Initially unsuccessful, she took a job in tech, but soon received an offer to join Onyanko Club due to her personality. She accepted, joining a talent agency as well, and debuted as an original member on April 1, 1985.

The staff initially favored her as an early solo debut candidate alongside Tomoda Mamiko. However, after Tomoda and several members were dismissed from the group for underage smoking, Nitta Eri’s popularity unexpectedly surged, delaying Fukunaga’s solo debut until May 1986. Shortly after, she announced her graduation from Onyanko Club, officially leaving on September 26, 1986. She briefly pursued acting but gradually withdrew from entertainment, retiring on November 20, 1988, due to health issues.

Post-retirement, Fukunaga held various jobs before becoming a celebrity personal assistant. She now serves as chief director and producer at the talent company OFFICE NissiN and has long worked as Koizumi Kyoko's personal assistant.
