Galileo Galilei (ガリレオ・ガリレイ), was a six-member Japanese indie rock band from Hokkaido, formed in 2007.
They are best known for performing the opening theme songs of the animes Haikyu!! and Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day.
The band announced their breakup after their final tour in April 2016, however after almost 7 years, they decided to re-unite. On October 12, 2022, they announced they would do a 5 city new concert tour titled "Bee and the Whales Tour 2023".
