Garasu no Shounen (硝子の少年) is the debut single by KinKi Kids. Released on July 21, 1997 as 8cm CD. The publisher is Johnny's Entertainment.

It was re-released as a 12cm CD (maxi single) on December 26, 2007.

This was the major debut single of KinKi Kids, who had been active as Johnny's Jr. since 1993, and was their first release under the record company Johnny's Entertainment, which was established in 1997.

The first pressing was released as a set of this work and the album "A album". The first pressing of this work comes with a desk calendar, and the idea of selling this set was conceived by Riuzo Kosugi (in the early days, it became the foundation of Korean idol release formats, such as "Hikari Genji"). The first pressing was made in 1 million copies and sold out. The first pressing also had an 8cm single in a maxi single jacket.

The single and album were released at the same time, in accordance with Johnny Kitagawa's wishes, in order to allow KinKi Kids to debut. Yamashita Tatsuro later commented, "Johnny doesn't want cute guys to debut," and "KinKi were supposed to debut with 'Kiss Kara Hajimaru Mystery', but Johnny said no. He didn't want them to debut. So he wrote "Garasu no Shounen" next, but Johnny said no to that either. Johnny said he wanted them to debut with an album, so we had no choice but to package the album and single in the same package."
