Hikaru GENJI (光GENJI) was a Japanese idol boy band that was formed in 1987 and disbanded in 1995.

From 1994 to 1995, the band was known as Hikaru GENJI SUPER 5.

  • Before SMAP made their music debut in 1991, they appeared as backup dancers in some of Hikaru GENJI's videos.
  • Two unofficial sub-units exist: Futatsu no Kaze and U&S. Both are choreography focused groups.
  • They were co-hosts of Sakurakko Club Sakuragumi's television show, Sakurakko Club.
