All pages about groups or bands must begin with {{Group Infobox}}. Do not create your own separate template.
Information on how each field of the infobox should be filled can be found at the template's documentation.
Introduction[]
Every group/band article must also begin with a brief introduction. In this case, you should start with the full page name in '''bold''' and some basic information about them, such as how long they have been active, what their career currently is, i.e., are they a group, a band, etc.
Members[]
A brief list of group/band members, preferrably in the bullet point format. Put the kanji names, if applicable, between parenthesis. Use the Colortext template if applicable. Information about line-up changes (joining dates, graduation/withdrawal dates) are also added in this section, between parenthesis and after the kanji.
History[]
If you have a brief history about a group/band, you should add a heading named "History". This heading will be a complete walkthrough for a group/band, from its formation, to its peak, maybe to its break-up or disbandment whatsoever.
Discography[]
This heading is mandatory unless its a group that is so new that they don't have a discography yet or the discography is so overwhelming to list that you want to do it later.
To list discography, you'll want to use a numbered list under level 3 headings. You'll also want to list the date in a year.month.day format for example: [2022.10.12] is the same as October 12, 2022. If a title is in Japanese, you'll want to put the romanized title down, followed by the original Japanese title between parentheses.
Trivia[]
A page may contain a trivia section containing a bullet point list with information about the artist that is not directly related to their music.
Gallery[]
Gallery is a useful way to display multiple pictures of an artist. The easiest way to set this up is to copy the following piece of code and replace the image.jpg with any photo.
<gallery>
Image1.jpg|caption
Image2.jpg|caption
</gallery>
If the gallery has a lot of pictures, consider using a slideshow gallery to save space and avoid clutter.
Centered slideshow:
<gallery type="slideshow" position="center" widths="500">
Image.jpg|caption
</gallery>
Left aligned slideshow:
<gallery type="slideshow" position="left" widths="320">
Image.jpg|caption
</gallery>{{clrl}}
External Links[]
Use this as a bullet point list to link to external sites that may provide useful information such as an official website or social media.
Categories[]
Categories are added to the bottom of the page, without a header. For more info about categories on the Japanese Music Wiki, refer to the Category Guidelines.
