Jun Leo Mirzat Xi, better known as Jun Leo (ジュン・リオ), aka Prince Jun Leo, is a British-Chinese singer based in the local music scene in Tokyo, Japan, and London, UK.


Born and raised in London, UK, to a multi-cultural family. He is of Chinese and Italian descent. Jun Leo was raised with positive values and creativity was nurtured from an early age. He attended various schools and academies which specialized in performing Arts. During this time he studied dance styles such as contemporary, hip hop and modern. He also studied media, art and fashion.

Moving on, after community college in his late teens, he went on to work in retail whilst also gaining an online following. He was noticed by a talent scout based in Japan who believed his style and looks would appeal to a Japanese audience. After sending a singing demo to the manager of the company he was soon relocated to Japan where he began his new life. That’s when he started his solo career, and relocated immediately to Japan where he began modeling, singing and working on music. He received singing lessons from former Three cats (スリーキャッツ) member Keiko Ozawa. He also received training in traditional Japanese dance style Nihon-buyo.

Jun Leo was initially noticed by producers in Japan due to his unique looks and androgynous fashion. His personal style takes inspiration from many different places. Notably Japanese street fashion such as Harajuku, genderless and visual kei fashion. He also takes a lot of inspiration from the goth scene as he has been heavily influenced by the goth lifestyle, music and fashion since his preteens.

In Autumn 2015, he launched his first single called “Last Fantasy” for the Japanese Market. His second single-track was released in Winter 2015, called “Make it move”. These two tracks got attention in the Local Japanese Music Industry, and became an instant hit.

Whilst working on his music career, he also modeled on catwalk, magazines, events and commercials. He signed a contract with the Clothing Brand called “Ayymatuura”, were he increased his popularity outside Japan. He then went on to became an International Model. In 2016 Jun Leo took part in the 2016 Korea Collection Fashion Show held in Seoul, South Korea - where he modeled for this brand.

In 2017, Jun Leo worked with Japanese fashion designer Teruaki Takahashi on various projects.

In 2020, after a long creative hiatus, he began working on his new image and musical concepts, and created his own Talent & Management Agency called “Starlight Media & Entertainment”. In the same year, his EP, Last Fantasy was published in Digital and Streaming Music Stores.

In 2021, he released a new single, called "Guardian Angel". This single is a new step in his career, since he announced to his fans, he would be now be producing and writing his own music both in English and Japanese.
