Kawashima Michiyuki (川島道行) was the former vocalist and guitarist of Boom Boom Satellites.
Since 1997, he suffered from a brain tumor and was repeatedly treated and relapsed. After his fifth relapse in 2015, he announced the band's final single LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME to be released in 2016 and took a hiatus. He passed away on October 9, 2016 at the age of 47.[1]
