Kisida Kyodan & THE Akebosi Rockets (岸田教団&THE明星ロケッツ) is a rock band. They began activities as a Touhou Project doujin music unit founded by Kisida in 2005, and slowly grew into a rock band with a stable lineup. In 2010, they made their major debut with original music. They continue to release Touhou doujin music alongside original work.
They were known as Studio K2 or simply as Kisida Kyodan (岸田教団) until 2007. "Akebosi Rockets" was taken from their song "Akeboshi Rocket" released in 2006.
