LAPONE Entertainment (LAPONEエンタテインメント) is a Japanese management company established on May 29, 2019 by CJ ENM and Yoshimoto Kogyo Holdings.
The company produces the survival audition program PRODUCE 101 JAPAN.
On December 17, 2021, LAPONE Entertainment introduced the trainee system "LAPONE BOYS & LAPONE GIRLS". Applicants who pass a strict screening would become trainees under LAPONE Entertainment and take daily lessons.[1][2]
On February 8, 2024, LAPONE Entertainment established a new company, LAPONE GIRLS (株式会社LAPONE GIRLS), with the aim of professionally developing girl groups and supporting their global activities. LAPONE GIRLS is a wholly-owned subsidiary in which LAPONE Entertainment owns 100% of the shares.[3][4] Previously, on December 16, 2023, the day of the final episode of PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS, LAPONE Entertainment had announced the start of a new project called "LAPONE GIRLS PROJECT (tentative name)".[5]

- The company was named "LAPONE Entertainment" after the mottos of its shareholders, "Laugh&Peace" by Yoshimoto Kogyo Holdings and "ONLY ONE" by CJENM Corporation.
- CJ ENM, which holds 70% of the equity, produces their activities in Korea, while Yoshimoto Kogyo, which holds a 30% stake, produces their activities in Japan.[6]
- The representative, Choi Shinhwa, used to work for the Seoul branch of Yoshimoto Kogyo.[7]
