Namie Joshihatsu Kumiai logo (2019-2025)

LumiUnion (ルミユニオン), formerly known as Namie Joshihatsu Kumiai (浪江女子発組合; Jyoshihatsu Association Namie), is currently an eight-member Japanese idol girl group produced by Momoiro Clover Z member, Sasaki Ayaka, under Stardust Promotion.

The group is made up of talents from STARDUST PLANET and members who have had concurrent positions in B.O.L.T, Awww!, AMEFURASSHI, CROWN POP, and Stapla Kenkyusei.

The original line-up was revealed at the "Reconstruction Namie Town Tokaichi Festival" in Namie Town on November 24, 2019.

On March 29, 2025, the group announced that they would be changing their name. The new name would be revealed at a later date.[1]

On June 28, 2025, it was announced that the new group name had been decided to be LumiUnion.[2]

On December 28, 2025, it was announced that the group would disband at the end of April 2026.[3]

Group Origin[]

On March 11, 2019, Sasaki Ayaka of Momoiro Clover Z visited schools in Namie and realised that it had been 8 years since the Great Japan Earthquake.

She grew a desire to help the residents through idol activities, to bring warm smiles to the people.
