Main Theme is the 3rd single released by Yakushimaru Hiroko. It is the theme song of the 1984 movie Main Theme in which Yakushimaru plays the female lead. It is one of her best selling singles, selling 512,000 total copies.
It is a cover of Yoshitaka Minami's April 1984 single Standard Number with some lyrical differences.
