Matsumoto Aki (松本亜紀) is a former Japanese idol and a former member of Onyanko Club.
She joined Onyanko Club on October 25, 1985. However, she joined the group without prior permission from her high school, and was expelled from the school. Since being in school or some sort of educational program was a requirement of Onyanko Club, she was immediately fired that same day.
A promotional enka single titled "Duo Jun" (デュオ・純) was released by Teichiku Records on December 16, 1989 featuring singer Oda Tatsuya and a new female singer, Horiuchi Sumiko (堀内純子), who was later revealed to be Matsumoto.[1] This suggests that she was going to make a solo debut as an enka singer under a stage name. However, the single never received an official release, so her solo debut was likely cancelled.
