Meik (メイク) is a s a Japanese singer, dancer and model.
She is a former founding member of J☆Dee'Z. She graduated from the group on November 14, 2016.
Profile[]
- Influenced by her older sister, she started dancing when she was five years old.[1]
- Michael Jackson is one of her biggest influences in terms of dancing.[1]
- She was a scholarship student at EXPG Tokyo. She had passed a scholarship student audition when she was in the third grade of elementary school, and was chosen as one of two winners (and the youngest) out of hundreds.[1]
- During her time as an EXPG student, she participated in tours of EXILE as a kid dancer. Seeing them perform inspired her to become an artist herself.[1][2]
- In the spring of 2013, she moved to Tokyo to make her major debut as a member of J☆Dee'Z.
- In April 2016, she stopped her activities due to a fracture of her rib cartilage during a lesson.[2]
- On November 14, 2016, she graduated from J☆Dee'Z due to differences in direction, and started her solo career on the same day.[3][4]
