more than kawaii is the first extended play released by @onefive. It was released on March 26, 2025.[1]

The title of the EP describes the concept on which it was created. MOMO explained, "We wondered if people use the word 'kawaii' too lightly. When we look at society today, we wonder, 'Maybe people don't really mean it from their heart?' and 'Maybe people have forgotten the original excitement that the word 'kawaii' conveys?' We get told that we're 'kawaii', but we wonder, 'Our charm can't be summed up in just 'kawaii', so why do people only say 'kawaii'?'"[2]

The members of @onefive were profoundly involved in the production of the songs from scratch, holding meetings with their songwriters and music creators. The songs were then written and created based on the ideas of the members, including some lyrics that they specifically came up with.[2] Indeed, the members are credited with co-writing "hanamichi", for which they thought up the lyrics themselves, which were then pieced together by Yui Mugino.[3] GUMI said, "I think this EP in particular reflects what we're thinking more than ever before."[2] KANO also participated as an assistant to the choreographer KAITA during the creation of the choreography for "Sit Down Please".[4]

On August 8, 2025, the song "TAP!TAP!TAP! (TJO Remix)" was used in a commercial for the Japanese jewelry company THE KISS.[5]

Trivia[]

  • "Sit Down Please" is a play on words on the Japanese word shiranpuri, which sounds similar.[6]
  • Kaishin, or kāixīn, means happy in Mandarin Chinese. Chinese words were included in the lyrics of Kaishin Ressha 080 as the members had learned Chinese for their first overseas performance in Taiwan in December 2024.[6]
