Nanimono is the thirdteenth single released by King & Prince. It was released on June 21, 2023.
The single will be their first release under the two-member formation. Its theme was "enjoying the moment without getting overwhelmed". It is a cheering song with a message that the accumulation of small happiness will make your days more colorful.[1]
The title song "Nanimono" was featured as the ending theme for the drama Passion for Punchlines starring Takahashi Kaito and Morimoto Shintaro on Nippon TV.[2]
The B-sides featured in each form are as follows: "Magic of Love" for the "Limited Edition A", "Kiss & Kill" for the "Limited Edition B", "Ashita no Katachi" & "Namonaki Extra" for the "Regular Edition", and "Hanashi wo Shiyou yo" which was written and composed by Takahashi Kaito for the "Dear Tiara Edition".[1]
The Limited Edition A will comes with a DVD containing the music video and its lip-sync version of "Nanimono", as well as making video. The Limited Edition B will comes with a DVD containing a video project called "Samazama na Game ni Chousen! Teamwork Challenge" in which they face many games to raise their passion and solidarity, and also a shooting video for the single cover and a making video featuring dancing scenes. The Dear Tiara Edition will comes with a DVD containing the special video "King & Prince no Sauna de Mi mo Kokoro mo Sarakedase! Honne Talk".[1]
Following the single, they will also hold their first fan meeting "King & Prince to Uchiawase" on July 2 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
The music video of "Nanimono" was premiered on YouTube on June 1.[3]
The single will be release with 4 types: Limited Edition A/B, Regular Edition, and Dear Tiara Edition.
The single was certified "Double Platinum" by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on July 10, 2023.[4]
