Lin Mika (リン美香) née Nagoya (名越) is a former Japanese idol and a former founding member of Onyanko Club and its sub-unit Nyangilas.
History[]
She joined Onyanko Club via the All Night Fuji High School Girls Special audition process, and became one of eleven founding members. She was assigned member number "9." She became known for her very camera-shy personality. However she was a popular back up vocalist for Onyanko Club's music, and even sang a duet with Nakajima Miharu for the opening song on their first album. On April 1st, 1986 she joined Nyangilas. During the summer 1986 concert tour, Nagoya announced that she would be graduating from Onyanko Club to pursue a career in acting and to learn the English language. She graduated from Onyanko Club and Nyangilas on September 26, 1986. However, she returned to the stage with Nyangilas for the Onyanko Club final concert in September 1987.
After graduating she was cast in minor roles, but struggled finding acting work, so she retired from entertainment to study abroad in England.
Eventually she moved to Hong Kong after marrying a Hongkongese air pilot and began working as a stylist. In 2020, she became a member of the Hongkongese acapella group SHEEP'S.
