Nakajima Megumi (中島愛) is a voice actress and female soloist from Ibaraki. She was chosen to play the role of Ranka Lee, the heroine of the anime Macross Frontier, and made her debut as a singer in June 2008 with the single "Seikan Hikou" under the name "Ranka Lee = Nakajima Megumi". In January 2009, she released her first single "Tenshi ni Naritai" under her own name. She also became the voice provider of GUMI, the virtual idol from "Megpoid" (a series of voicebanks for the VOCALOID singing-synthesis software as well as other vocal synthesizers) which was first released in June 2009 and followed by several updated and extended voicebanks over the years.

She had been on a music hiatus since March 2014, but resumed activities in December 2016, releasing her first single "Watashi no Sekai" in February 2017, the first single of her return, and "Saturday Night Question" in October 2017, the second single of her return. In January 2019, the 10th anniversary of her debut, she released her first cover album Lovely Time Travel. On June 5 of the same year, her 30th birthday, her first best album 30 pieces of love and her first analog album 8 pieces of love were released.

In June 2023, she celebrated the 15th anniversary of her debut and released "equal" as a digital single in July.
