Novel Core (ノベルコア), birth name Satake Taro (佐竹 太朗), is a Japanese rapper, singer and songwriter.
Profile[]
- He started his activities as a rapper in 2016 under the stage name Core-Boy.
- On March 30, 2017, he participated in "BAZOOKA! The 11th High School RAP Championship" and won the second place.
- On April 1, 2017, he was appointed as the youngest personality for WREP, Japan's first radio station specializing in Hip-Hop.
- On August 17, 2017, he participated in "BAZOOKA! The 12th High School RAP Championship" and won.[1]
- On November 29, 2018, he signed with Zeebra's hip-hop label GRAND MASTER, and changed his stage name from Core-Boy to Novel Core.[2][3]
- On December 5, 2018, he made his indie debut by releasing his first single, "Metafiction".
- In October 2020, he moved to BMSG, a management/label established by SKY-HI, as the first artist and made his major label debut under B-ME, a record label jointly established by BMSG and avex.[4]
