STU48, short for "Setouchi 48", is the sixth sister group of AKB48. They were formed in March 2017 and are the first wide-area idol group of the AKB48 group, based in the "Setouchi" area and operating around "one sea, seven prefectures". They made their debut from King Record on January 31, 2018, with the single "Kurayami".
