SUPER FANTASY

SUPER FANTASY is a Japanese idol boy group formed in 2016. Their concept is "fairy tales that welcome a happy ending". The group made its debut on February 2, 2017, and performs regular live shows every Sunday at a theater in Akasaka.

The group is split into two teams, "THE HEROES" and "THE VILLAINS". Each member has a counterpart in the opposite team (e.g. the leaders of the teams are each others' counterparts). Some of the counterparts get along while others don't and rather resemble a symbiotic relationship.

The counterparts concept was not an original concept created by the group itself, but was an idea of the fans and was liked by the members so much, it was integrated into the group concept.
The overall fandom name is Royals and Knight and Princess are appropriately used for male and female.
Besides having a counterpart, each member has a unique nickname describing their personalities or what they represent and the names are always changing.
The group has a theatre manager named Norii that helps schedule their events and they also hold free lives and other events for their fans. Their theatre performances sometimes include extra songs, a skit, a bit of acting and sometimes even a DJ performance.
