SUPER MONKEY'S was a girl group formed from Okinawa Actors School in 1992. They are best known for being the group where Amuro Namie and MAX debuted.

In April 1993, after the departure of Makino Anna, and Nakasone Rino being unable to join as a replacement due to health issues, the group was renamed SUPER MONKEY'S4.

In July 1994, the group was renamed again to Amuro Namie with SUPER MONKEY'S, and Amuro became the only vocalist. Arakaki Hisako left that October, and two new members joined as her replacements. All members except Amuro formed sub-unit MAX in April 1995.

On September 1, 1996, the group went on an indefinite hiatus for the members to focus on their respective other activities. They intended to reform in 1997, but this was put off due to Amuro's marriage and pregnancy, and SUPER MONKEY'S never reformed.
