Sakuma Rei is a Japanese voice and stage actress and former idol singer.
She began auditioning for various entertainment opportunities in the early 1980s but did not receive a deal until 1983. She made her debut simultaneously as a solo idol and as a member of the dance troupe The Sundays under the alternate spelling Sakuma Rei (佐久間麗) in 1983, but retired from entertainment soon after the release of her second single. However, in 1985, she returned to the industry focusing on voice acting with her current spelling and has been active ever since.
