Sonata Karen (空詩かれん) is a Japanese idol. She is the leader and a member of iLiFE! and combined group HEROINES, and a former member and leader of monogatari under the name Fukumoto Karen (福本カレン).
In Harajuku Monogatari, she was part of team Clo†h.
She graduated from monogatari on February 16, 2020 when the group disbanded.
She joined iLiFE! and HEROINES on January 20, 2025.
On October 4, 2025, it was announced that she was appointed as leader of iLiFE! after Konoka Riri was demoted as leader of the group due to severe rule violations.[1]

- Her favourite things to do are eating, sleeping, going on walks with her mom and especially singing which she has done since she was a young child. As a kid she would often get scolded by her teacher for singing too much in the classroom.
- Her favourite food is salmon. She also loves KFC, yakiniku, sweets and spicy food.
- Her favourite idols are Hello! Project, Kyururin te shitemite and Iginari Tohokusan. She also likes rock type idols like TENRIN and NEO JAPONISM.
- Her charm point is her singing.
- She is very close with her fellow group member Konoka Riri and shares a dorm with her.
- Shes also in contact with some of her former group mates from monogatari and hangs out with them regularly. In fact the person who recommended Karen as a member to imaginate is her close friend and former group member Konose Haruka who also happens to be a HEROINES member now.
- She has always liked idols but never considered becoming one until she was scouted for Millennium Girls (now known as monogatari).
- Her favourite Sanrio character is Hangyodon.

- She often struggles to sleep and puts on sleep programs on Netflix for herself.
