He played a major role in the band's development, writing some of its hit singles. In 1989, when TULIP disbanded, he temporarily reunited POPSICLE, released albums from indies, and composed commercials and video package background music as an individual. In 1992, he disbanded POPSICLE and provided music to idols as a composer. He has also focus on his activities to provide songs centered on pony canyon-related content, such as anime songs, stage music, and TV and radio jingles. The program Jingle of "Nippon Broadcasting Show Up Nighter" in 2005 was also his work.
During his lifetime, he liked Shizunai Town (now Shinhidakaka, Hokkaido) and created "SHIZUNAI - My Favorite Scenery" for the town. With the cooperation of the town, it is converted into CD by the local volunteer "CD production executive committee" and sold at local CD shops and tourism associations.
