  • He is a huge fan of KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya, Sexy Zone's Kikuchi Fuma, BTS's V, and 2PM's Nichkhun.
  • On July 15, 2022, it was announced that he would suspend his activities and focus on recuperation due to poor health.[1] On August 31, 2022, it was announced that he would resume activities at the group's first one-man live "OCTPATH 1st LIVE -MY PATH-" to be held at Tokyo Garden Theater on September 23.[2]
  • On January 27, 2023, it was announced that he had been suspended as he had been found to have "engaged in inappropriate behavior that went beyond the expected relationship between artists and fans, such as continuing intimate communication with certain fans in private". Although the police had been consulted on the matter, Takahashi's suspension was decided in order to encourage him to reflect more deeply on his behavior, as it was "a betrayal of all the fans who have been supporting him, and a behavior that seriously undermines his awareness and responsibility as an artist".[3][4] On August 8, 2023, it was announced that he would begin preparations for resuming activities as a group member on the same day, and resume full-fledged activities as an artist in September after spending the past six months confronting his behavior and holding several discussions with the members and staff.[5][6]
