Trivia[]
- Originally the A and B sides were flipped and the titles were different. The released B-side was intended to be the A-side and was originally titled "Tantei Monogatari." However, Yakushimaru much preferred the B-side, then called "Umibe no Sketch" (海辺のスケッチ) and thought it better fit the dramatic mood of the movie. Producers agreed, and so "Umibe no Sketch" became "Tantei Monogatari." The original "Tantei Monogatari" was renamed to "Sukoshi Dake Yasashiku."
- Early releases of the single were billed as "Tantei Monogatari/Sukoshi Dake Yasashiku" and were considered a double A-side.
