Uno Misako

Uno Misako (宇野実彩子) is a female soloist from Tokyo and a member of AAA. She is a multi-talented lyricist, businesswoman, producer, designer, model, and YouTuber.

She debuted on September 14, 2005 as the female lead singer of the AAA single "BLOOD on FIRE" and began working in various fields including magazines, radio and television.

She made her solo debut on February 14, 2018 with the release of her first single "Doushite Koishite Konna".

Biography[]

She was born on July 16, 1986 in Suginami Ward, Tokyo, the second daughter of a mother who is a teacher and a father from Otaru City, Hokkaido.^[1] She received stern home instruction. She completed her elementary, middle, and high school education at Shirayuri Gakuen.^[2]

At the age of 3, influenced by her older siblings' hobbies, she was exposed to Western music and dance.^[3] As a child, she lacked self-confidence and was not good at going out in public, but from the second grade on, she became active in expressing herself through book reports and dancing. She became a fan of Michael Jackson, became interested in English, and repeatedly read English comic books with translations. During her fifth grade summer vacation, she attended a summer camp in Germany where children from all over the world gathered.^[4]

When she was in the sixth grade, she saw Suzuki Ami who passed the ASAYAN audition, and she longed to be a celebrity. She auditioned but was not accepted.^[5] In junior high school, she studied and homestayed in England to experience the professional musical "CATS" and was moved by the performers' professionalism.

Since junior high school, she has been auditioning for various occasions.^[6] In 2002, she applied for Avex Audition and performed in the final selection, ranking 5th in A2.^[3] After taking lessons at Avex Artist Academy, she balanced her studies with rigorous lessons.^[7]^[8] However, she was not selected for the SweetS audition in 2003.^[9] After a year of lessons, she joined the male members of AAA and was invited to form AAA in the second year.^[3]

On March 13, 2024, she announced her marriage to NEWS member Koyama Keiichiro. They reportedly registered their marriage on March 12, the birthday of Uno's father, who passed away in January 2023.^[10]^[11]

She has a brother 10 years older and a sister 8 years older.^[1] Her older sister is named Asako (安彩子(あさこ)).^[12]
She is a certified fasting counselor for life on diet, health, and beauty in 2015.^[13]
