VANILLA was a rock band formed in 1994.
Kawanishi Kouichi, who had just left UNICORN, wished to form a new band and brought together the other instrumentalists. They later recruited vocalist Sasamoto Nozomi, who had sent in a demo tape to Sony Music.
They stopped activities indefinitely in 1999. All members continued solo activities except Sasamoto.
