Wakana is a Japanese female soloist from Fukuoka Prefecture. She is a former member of Kalafina.
Wakana started learning vocals at the age of 12 and began performing on many shows from the age of 17. After moving to the capital, she joined the FictionJunction project. After that, she debuted as a member of Kalafina in January 2008.
Wakana made her long-awaited solo debut on February 2019 from Victor Entertainment with the single "Toki wo Koeru Yoru ni" and released her first album Wakana in March.
