Watanabe Entertainment (株式会社ワタナベエンターテインメント), is one of the major entertainment companies in Japan and a member of the Watanabe Production Group. The company offers management services for talents, actors/actresses, comedians, musicians, entertainers, athletes and influencers, and is also involved in the production of TV programs, movies, live performances, publications, radio programs, stage productions, etc.
It was established on October 24, 2000, as a result of the reorganization of Watanabe Productions (the main subsidiary of the Watanabe Production Group) by spinning off its entertainment production division. Watanabe Productions itself was established by Watanabe Shin on April 3, 1959.
Watanabe Entertainment is headed by Watanabe Miki (who also serves as Chairman and Representative Director of Watanabe Productions).
The company also operates a performing arts school called Watanabe Education Group (WEG) which opened in 2004 as Watanabe Entertainment's new talent discovery and training department.
In addition to the head office in Tokyo, the company has offices in Fukuoka (Kyushu Division), Osaka (Kansai Division) and Aichi (Tokai Division).
