Yamamoto Junichi is a Japanese talento, singer, former professional wrestler, former idol singer, and former member of Hikaru GENJI. He is currently a member of the unit Futatsu no Kaze.
He made his debut in 1987 as part of GENJI, later merged into Hikaru GENJI. He made his solo debut in 1992, but only released one single at the time. He also wrestled in addition to his idol duties. He retired from entertainment after the group's disbandment in 1995, however, he returned to his entertainment career in 2012. He took a one year hiatus, allegedly to recover from financial problems, and made a full return in 2014. In 2016 he made his debut as a professional wrestler and also returned to singing.
